Innovation Director of Las Naves/Innovation Department of Valencia’s City Council
A lover of my city and of innovation as a lever to increase the quality of the products and services that surround us.
Working with an open mind and feet on the ground, with effort in the methodology and work processes, with a clear, concrete and applicable purpose to the improvement of society.
My last 5 years, as Technical Deputy Director of the Foundation, and with my new role as Director of the Valencia Innovation Capital have allowed me to have extensive knowledge of both the internal functioning of our city and the public administration, which has allowed us as an entity to grow in activity, scope and transfer of results at the service of citizens.
Since then, all the work I have done has been linked to R+D+i as the basis of the capacities that people have to improve their own environment. Sometimes, unfortunately, the result of innovations cannot always be transferred to society as we would have liked. Normally the transferability or the planning and monitoring by objectives in the project fails. For this reason, every day I am more convinced of the integration of society as a whole in innovation processes, of the most creative methodologies and at the same time of the ability to achieve the ability to move from challenges to ideas, projects, tasks and results. For me, “innovation” is not a challenge for industry or universities or institutions, it is a challenge for society as a whole, where we will all be involved.
