Marián Cano holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a postgraduate degree in Commercial and Marketing Management from ESIC. Since 2015, she has been the Executive President of the Valencian Association of Footwear Entrepreneurs (AVECAL).
Her connection to the footwear sector began in 2010 when she was appointed Secretary General of the Association of Footwear Manufacturers of Elche (AICE). In 2020, she assumed the interim presidency of the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE), a position she held until 2022. Currently, she serves as the Secretary General of FICE. In 2023, she was appointed as a member of the Executive Committee of the Alicante Chamber of Commerce.
She is also part of several representative bodies, including the Executive Committee of the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV), the Plenary Session of the Social Dialogue Board of the Generalitat, the Observatory of Industry and Economic Sectors of the Valencian Community, the General Assembly of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), and the Assembly of the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Cepyme), among others.
